LSC Sailing Club Membership

Enjoy sailing on club boats or your own boat or kayak

Enjoy Lake Life Every Day of the Summer at LSC!

Your LSC membership comes with club access 7 days a week! Enjoy swimming, kayaking, sailing, barbecuing, bonfires and s'mores or lakeside picnic dining any time!

Lansing Sailing Club Membership

LSC has several classes of membership. All LSC Memberships include access to club boats (you'll be checked out on the boats that fit your level of sailing or racing), the clubhouse and all the amenities. LSC is a great place to hang out in the spring, summer and fall! You can enjoy sailing, swimming, kayaking, outdoor bonfires in our fire pit, picnics at the club, barbecuing on the club grills, club social picnics and moonlight sail events, family sailing nights. Its your own "lake life" right at home! Each member is required to do four duties per year to maintain the club: Docks In (spring), Docks out (fall), Race Committee (you'll be paired with an expert) and two deck duties (jobs around the club or club management.)

Full membership

Regular members enjoy full access, plus a spot for their club-racing-class boat (Lightning, Sunfish, Laser and Wayfarer/CL 16), full use of the club and club boats and are considered voting members of the club. Regular members also have 4 duties per year and a Race Committee signup.

$575/year plus per-boat fees ($25-50 depending on the size of your boat)

Associate Membership

Associate members enjoy full use of the club and use of the club boats. Associate members may not store or park their own boats on the property, nor are they voting members. They also have 4 duties per year and a race committee signup.

$325/year

High School Sailing Team (active season):

This shorter 4-month season allows for high school students to race at LSC on the club LSC 420s used for racing. Students will assist with either Docks in or Docks out as their deck duty.

$125 for the 4-month season

Senior Membership:

Our senior members (65+) enjoy access to the club and club boats, but have fewer jobs and are exempt from docks in/ docks out duties.

$250/year
